Before using the WM1000, install two AAA batteries (included) by opening the battery compartment. The device retains settings even when batteries are replaced.

Step 2: Programming the Capacity and Timing

• Press the DISPLAY button twice and hold it down.
• While holding the DISPLAY button, press and hold the RESET button.
• Release both buttons when the display starts flashing.
• Press the DISPLAY button to adjust the desired **capacity in liters** (increments of 500 L, up to 99,500 L).
• Press the RESET button to save the capacity setting and move to **days setting**.
• Press the DISPLAY button to adjust the desired **timing in days** (increments of 30 days, up to 720 days).
• Confirm and save the settings by pressing the RESET button or waiting for the display to stop flashing.

Step 3: Monitoring Usage

• Press the DISPLAY button to cycle through three modes:
• Capacity Mode: Shows remaining filter life in liters.
• Timing Mode: Displays days left until filter replacement.
• Flow Rate Mode: Shows current water flow in liters per minute.
• The display turns off automatically after 10 seconds to save battery.

Step 4: Responding to Alerts

• First Alert: The alarm beeps once and the display flashes when there are **100 liters or 7 days** remaining.
• Final Alert: The alarm beeps twice when **0 liters or 0 days** is reached.
• Replace the filter cartridge and press the RESET button to restart tracking.
• Low Battery Alert: If the meter beeps twice, replace the batteries (settings are retained).

Important: A paper clip or similar tool is needed to press the reset button.
