Espazzola V2 Group Head Cleaning Brush in Red

The Espazzola is a professional tool for cleaning group-heads of espresso machines and should be considered an essential part of any espresso machine cleaning kit. Unlike traditional group head brushes, the Espazzola is mounted into the group-head like a portafilter and uses the hot water from the machine for a thorough and comprehensive removal of all coffee residues and coffee oils. Instead of brushing out the group-head by hand, simply wash the dirt away.

The Espazzola group head cleaning brush has been designed to fit 58-60 mm commercial sized group heads. The kit includes an Espazzola group handle and silicone brush insert, plus instructions. Espazzola is top rack dishwasher safe, and can even be soaked in coffee detergent for cleaning. Optionally, you can use detergent pellets during your cleaning routine to remove more stubborn gunk - just be sure to backflush as well later on.

Currently the Espazzola is available in a single size only. Please make sure the portafilter of your machine has two "ears" or "hooks" and an open diameter of 57 to 59 millimeters! Often it is easier to measure the diameter of the tamper: this should be between 56 and 58 millimeters!

Machines that are exceptional to the rule above:

• Gaggia CC: steel wire clips might need to be bend a bit downwards to fit.
• Lever machines: steel wire clips might need to be bend a bit downwards to fit.
• Ascaso Dream, Arc und Basic: Espazzola doesn't fit, rim of the group-head is too narrow. All other machines (including Dream PID) are compatible!
• Bezzera Hobby, manufactured up to and including 2014: Espazzola doesn't fit, rim of the group-head is too narrow.
• Breville (a.k.a. 'Sage', all machines): Espazzola doesn't fit.
• GRAEF (all machines): Espazzola doesn't fit.
• Illy Francis, Francis!: Espazzola doesn't fit, rim of the group-head is too narrow.
• La Pavoni, Domus Bar and Domus Casa: Espazzola doesn't fit, rim of the group-head is too narrow.
• Lelit Anna (PL41LEM, PL41EM, PL41QE) , Anita (PL042TEMD, PL042EMI, PL042LM, PL042QE), Diana (PL60R1), Grace (PL81T): Espazzola doesn't fit, rim of the group-head is too narrow.
• Vibiemme Lollo: Espazzola collides with backplane behind group.
• QuickMill 03035, 02820, 02835, 03004, 03035 'Pegaso', 03035 PID, 0820, 0835, 3130, 3135, 3140, 3145, 3230, 3235, 3240, 3245, 03000 'Orione': Espazzola collides with guiding pins in group head.
• Reneka: Espazzola doesn't fit, rim of the group-head is too narrow.
